This article explains which WhatsApp messages cost money, who bills you for them and how to estimate your monthly spend before you launch a campaign.
HueChat plans do not include WhatsApp messaging fees. Meta bills them directly to the payment method attached to your WhatsApp Business account, based on your usage and the country of each recipient. Your HueChat invoice only covers your HueChat plan and any AI Actions you buy.
Since July 2025, WhatsApp Business API pricing is per delivered template message. You are billed only for outbound template messages that are successfully delivered. The price depends on three things:
Meta also offers free entry points, for example conversations that start from certain Meta ads or buttons. Check the current rules in Meta's documentation, because they change.
HueChat keeps a snapshot of Meta's list rates on huechat.ai/whatsapp-pricing. At the time of writing, the rates for a recipient in Saudi Arabia are about 0.0501 USD per Marketing message, 0.0107 USD per Utility message and 0.0598 USD per Authentication message. Rates for the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India and other countries are listed on the same page. Always confirm the final price in your Meta Business account before you budget.
